The International Organization for Migration is present in more than 100 countries and has over 590 Country Offices and Sub-offices worldwide. As the leading inter-governmental organization promoting since 1951 humane and orderly migration, IOM plays a key role to support the achievement of the 2030 Agenda through different areas of intervention that connect both humanitarian assistance and sustainable development.

Mena Region

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has had a presence in the East and Horn Africa region since the early 1980s. The Regional Office in Cairo covers 16 countries, including Libya, Jordan, the Syrian Arab Republic, and Yemen.
